Description
MP PFGun system delivers the maximum energy produced by the solid energetic materials for to stimulate the near-wellbore.It is primarily used in perforated or open hole wells.
MP PFGun assembly has three major components-a slot steel carrier,a hollow cylinder propellant and a central ignition tubing system containing detonating cord and firing propellant.It is available in a variety of sizes including 2",2-7/8",3-1/2",4"and 4-1/2"OD,and in 1m,2 m,and 3m long,respectively.It can be conveyed via both tubing and wireline.
When the tool is positioned across the existing perforations,typically on tubing,the central-tube ignition system is then initiated,causing the main propellants to ignite.The propellant burns quickly and produces a burst of high-pressure gas.This high-pressure gas enters existing perforating tunnels and creates fractures across damaged zones,and therefore,an improved flow path from the formation to the wellbore.
